Our Services.

We offer EMDR, IFS, and Ketamine Assisted Therapy, individual 50 min sessions in person and virtual. We can also provide psychedelic integration.

EMDR.

What is EMDR? A way to integrate and process past experiences to help calm your nervous system. We use bilateral stimulation from tappers which you hold in each hand. Most people find this very grounding and soothing. It also provides dual awareness that you are in the present and not “re-experiencing” the event. This helps keep people in their window of tolerance. For more information, read our FAQS.

Ketamine Assisted Therapy.

We offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with a medical provider. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a holistic modality in which ketamine is used as a complement to psychotherapy to help eligible patients experience more frequent breakthroughs and sustained improvement in symptoms. We have found ketamine combined with EMDR is extremely helpful.

We take on the psychotherapy portion of the experience, while the medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This includes determining eligibility, developing a custom treatment plan, prescribing the medicine and monitoring outcomes. For more information, read our FAQS or contact us at kerry@truehavencounseling.com.

IFS.

What is IFS? Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) therapy focuses on enhancing ability to attend to difficult and distressing internal experiences (i.e. “vulnerable parts”) mindfully and with self-compassion (i.e. from the Self), in order to increase capacity to successfully “be with” or tolerate and process challenging experiences.

It also is a step-by-step way to “love” yourself. For more information, read our FAQS.
